Fermented Black Beans

These Fermented Black Beans were purchased years ago and have kept perfectly stored in the pantry closet without spoiling in any way. The high salt content is what keeps them from spoiling. The photo shows that these beans have virtually no clinging salt. Some fermented black beans have lots of residual salt coating them and/or packed in with them.
